In short……. This is Our Story ❤️
In the midst of the pandemic, everyone kept their distance but Aubrey and Kristoffer. They first met at Tim Horton’s Parking lot on a city Kristoffer calls “Alberta’s Los Angeles” – Red Deer – as he found his Angel with Aubrey.
That was Kris typing.
Moving on. They started dating on 2020, and bonded over hiking, camping, and just learning new things together. They even spent one Valentines Day getting First Aid Certificates which was Kris’ idea of romance. They love spending time together that 160km seems to be just a podcast away. They have travelled lot of places together like 3 countries, 3 provinces, about 232 trips to Costco, witnessed a once every few decades solar eclipse, and get to use the first aid training course by rescuing a lady with a broken fibula during one of their hikes. They have recently celebrated for reaching a milestone of driving 100,000kms together.
They got engaged on September of 2023, and will get married on August of 2024. They are planning to be together 2024ever. Yes. You read that right.

Aubrey’s Story
Aubrey Pesca was born and raised in the Philippines. She grew up in Cagayan Valley, in the northern part of the country. Although she lived close to the ocean, she never learned how to swim. Instead, she spent most of her time climbing the many trees surrounding her house in the province, riding the raging river during rainy days, and playing with her four siblings. She is fluent in Ilokano, Tagalog, and English.
On a serious note, Aubrey completed her degree in Pharmacy before migrating to Canada in 2015. She has been enjoying the practice and nurturing relationships with her patients since 2020. In her free time, she loves spending time with her family (including snuggling her baby nephew), friends, and, of course, Kris. During the summer, she enjoys running, hiking, camping, and has recently taken up new hobbies such as pickleball, tennis, and stand-up paddleboarding.
This year marks her third year of learning how to ski, and yes, she is still learning.
Kristoffer’s Story
Kristoffer Soliven was born in Manila and spent his childhood in various cities in the Philippines including Cubao, Antipolo, Tagaytay, and General Trias. He grew up as a free spirit, exposed to different environments and dynamics at a young age. He went back to Manila to study engineering and literally braved the streets from floods to being held at gunpoint.
He loves to spend time with friends and going to new places. Eventually, he moved to Canada in 2016 and has been working his ass off ever since. One of his difficulties is explaining what he does for a living. I mean, Aubrey thinks Kris fixes printers. Kris loves to spend time under the sun whether it is summer or winter time. You will see him on mountain trails, and camping grounds cooking noodles, or boiling water on top of the mountains.
Safe to say, Kris is one true Outdoor Boys ©.

We’re so happy to have you join us on our special day! To make things simple and save you from guessing what to bring, we’ve set up a way for you to conveniently gift us with a contribution towards our new life together.
You can easily do so through this link:
Thank you for being part of our celebration and for your thoughtful support!
💗💗💗💗💗💗💗💗💗
We’d love to know if you can make it (we hope you can!). Please RSVP by June 14th using the RSVP tab of the website. If needed, please include your dietary restrictions when prompted.
When you arrive at the wedding location, feel free to come early and join us from 2 PM onwards! We’ve planned a variety of activities to ensure you have a wonderful time even before the ceremony begins. You can enjoy a round of golf—we’ll have clubs, balls, and tees ready for you. Additionally, we’ve set up games like cornhole, giant Jenga, and bocce ball for some friendly competition. Feel free to bring any additional lawn games you love!
There will be a cash bar and drinks will be $2 each. There is NOT an ATM on site, so please bring cash with you for drinks.
We are touched that you want to share our special day with someone important to you. However, due to venue capacity and our desire to keep the event intimate, we are limiting invitations to those named on them. We hope you understand and look forward to celebrating with you.
Thank you for asking about the dress code for our wedding! We are hoping that our guests will choose to wear neutral colors to create a cohesive, elegant atmosphere for our special day. Think shades like beige, ivory, taupe, gray, and soft pastels. We’ve attached a picture for inspiration. We can’t wait to see how beautiful everyone will look in these harmonious hues. Both the ceremony and reception will be held at this venue and weather permitting, the ceremony and cocktail hour will be held outside, so please consider bringing a shawl or light jacket.
Absolutely, you are more than welcome to take pictures at our wedding! We love that you want to capture memories of our special day. Additionally, we will provide a QR code at the venue that you can scan to send us any photos you take. It would be awesome to see the day from your perspective!
We want to let you know that while we have a few little ones participating in our wedding party, we have decided to keep the rest of the event adults-only. This choice helps us manage the setting and ensure an evening that everyone can enjoy comfortably.
We’re happy to let you know that there is a parking lot available at the venue for your convenience. There is signage to direct you.
We are unable to provide accommodations at the venue, so we encourage guests to arrange their own lodging. If you need recommendations or assistance finding nearby options, please feel free to reach out, and we’ll be happy to help guide you!
